Reaching out to those who matter
At TLS, we believe that legal professionals are in a unique and advantageous position to uplift those who are less fortunate. As such, our students are taught to give back to the society and contribute to the community’s development.

Law Awareness Event
The Law Awareness Week serves as a platform for the public to address their concerns on various legal matters in areas involving rights of community groups, through the Legal Aid Centre at Taylor’s and participating Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).

Community Service
Students participate in raising funds for charitable organisations, visits to orphanages and community centres, voluntary tutoring of students, as well as other activities.

Legal Aid Centre at Taylor’s University
Taylor’s Legal Aid Centre was established to cater to the needs of the surrounding community, in collaboration with the Malaysia Bar Council. The centre provides pro-bono legal advice to the community, and as an avenue for students to gain hands-on practice in the legal profession.
