In the 2019 QS Asia University rankings, Taylor’s University has been recognised as the top private university in Malaysia for both the Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation indicator. This recognition is proof that Taylor’s approach to teaching and learning resonates well with students and top players in the industry. Taylor’s moved up 15 places from being placed as the 150th university to the 135th university in Asia in the ranking exercise and is listed in the top 1 percent of universities in Asia for the second consecutive year.
Taylor’s University Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Michael J. Driscoll said in order to achieve the aim of being within the top 100 universities in Asia by 2022, the university will be strengthening its research capabilities while also developing strategic partnerships with leading universities across the world and more top employers.
“This will allow all our students to benefit from a global approach to learning and help them be more international in their outlook. We are proud that we are known in the region as a university that graduates youth who are well able to be impactful professionals on entry into the workforce,” he said.
