1. Certified HR Auditor Course, 18th – 22nd August 2014, Universiti Teknologi Mala
It gives us a great honour to extend our invitation exclusively for the UTM Skudai officials who are determined to contribute knowledgeably to the onward progress of UTM.

Facilitated by industry expert Dr V. T. Rao – a global luminary in the HRD profession, this Course aims to equip participants on several vantages including designing, conducting and evaluating, as well as identifying strengths and weaknesses through a HR Audit exercise. Participant also will be coached on how to write a HR Audit Report.

This Professional Certification program is designed and dedicated specifically for career minded HR Practitioners. It provides cutting edge knowledge for improving organisation's performance. HR Audit means the systematic verification of legal compliance, job analysis and design, recruitment and selection, orientation and placement, training and development, performance appraisal and job evaluation, employee and executive remuneration, motivation and morale, participate management, communication, welfare and social security, safety and health, industrial relations, trade unionism and disputes and their resolution. HR Audit is very much useful to achieve the organisational goal and also is a vital tool which helps to assess the effectiveness of HR functions of an organisation.
 

Programme Objectives
At the end of the programme, participants will:
 
  • Select Sampling for interviews for assessments, areas of observation and data needed study and assessment
  • Conduct an actual audit interview
  • Evaluate HR Systems and Competencies using TVRLS Manuals and tools
  • Evaluate relevance and redundancies of HR Systems to achieve key business objectives
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of HR department using multiple methods
  • Write an HR Audit Report
  • Practice as a HR Auditor (subject to other qualifications and competencies)
The Course helps UTM in:
 
  • Providing feedback on the value of the contribution of the HR function to the organisation's strategic business objectives
  • Assessing the quality of HR practices, policies and delivery
  • Reporting on extent of statutory HR compliance and remedial action required
  • Evaluating HR and line management relationships and ways these can be improved
  • Setting guidelines for establishing HR performance standards and;
  • Identifying areas for change and improvement with specific recommendations

Participants are awarded with the title “Certified HR Auditor Manager”
by Taylor’s Centre for Continuing Professional Education upon successful completion of the course.

As a background, this 2-months CAD Training Programme was secured by the CADD Centre, India, together with Centre for Continuing Professional Education, Taylor’s University for a joint certification.
