About the Journal

The Journal of Interdisciplinary Research in Education (JIRE) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Centre for Research in Education and Instructional Technologies, Taylor’s University Sdn Bhd. The journal is aimed at promoting and supporting best practices in teaching and teacher education by promoting and extending conversations and debates through the publication of:
(i) Research-based and classroom practice-related articles
(ii) Rigorous reviews of research
(iii) Essays
(iv) Book reviews
(v) ‘How-to-teach-it’ articles on a particular subject matter

The journal covers matters related to teaching and learning in various disciplines, teacher education, impact of educational policies, curriculum design and development, assessment practices, equity in education, e-learning and other concerns related to teaching and learning and classroom practices.
